Recycle diapers!

Hey! Will you help us recycle disposable diapers?
Here is how it works: Do not throw the diapers in with the general waste, but in a separate bin!
It is best to use an (airtight) diaper pail for this. Don't have one yet? Then you can borrow one from us!

Because we want to contribute to less waste in this way, it is completely free and without obligation.
We only use the information you provide to collect the diapers; it will not be shared with other parties!

Pickup outside Leiderdorp immediately suspended!
The municipality of Leiderdorp has currently forbidden us from dropping off diapers from other municipalities at their facility!
If you do NOT live in Leiderdorp you can still sign up; you will just be placed on the queue.
Don’t let this stop you — it actually helps us show neighboring municipalities how important this is, in the hope that they too will start offering separate diaper drop-off.

Store the diaper bags in a storage box.
Our box can be used both indoors and outdoors.
If you keep the box in an accessible place, we can even empty it when you are not at home.

I would like to borrow a diaper box!

Due to the large number of registrations, we currently have no outdoor boxes left.
We regularly order new boxes, and boxes are returned from other addresses which we clean and reuse.

We use the Ikea Klamtare boxes as outdoor boxes.
You can also order this yourself from Ikea if you prefer.
Please note: Ikea sells the bins online only in sets of 2.
They are available individually in the physical store!

The collected diapers are processed into plastic, fertilizer, and biogas.
The video below was made for the city of Waalwijk, but this also applies to the diapers we collect!
